By downloading, installing, or using CalTracker ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
CalTracker is developed and maintained by Simon Kroismayr. These terms may be updated from time to time, and continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of any changes.
All content, design, code, graphics, and features within CalTracker are the intellectual property of Simon Kroismayr unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App or its content without explicit written permission.
CalTracker reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue the App (or parts of it) at any time without prior notice. Some features may require a paid subscription via in-app purchases. Subscription terms and pricing are displayed within the App and managed through the respective app store (Google Play or the Apple App Store) and RevenueCat.
CalTracker offers two optional auto-renewing subscription plans, billed monthly or yearly:
Prices exclude applicable taxes, which may vary by region and app store. New subscribers may be offered a free trial (e.g. a 3-day free trial); the exact length and eligibility are shown in the App before you subscribe. Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the trial or current billing period, your subscription automatically renews at the price shown at checkout and your payment method (managed by Google Play or the Apple App Store) will be charged. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Google Play or Apple ID account settings — cancelling through CalTracker directly is not possible, as billing is handled entirely by the app store. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods except where required by law or app store policy.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. CalTracker uses Google Sign-In and Apple Sign-In for authentication. You should protect your linked accounts and not share your credentials. We are not liable for unauthorized access resulting from your failure to secure your account.
CalTracker uses the following third-party services. By using the App, you also agree to the terms of these services:
CalTracker requires an active internet connection for certain features including database search, new barcode lookups, account syncing, and data backup. Core logging (quick add, water, weight, editing existing meals) works offline, and an AI food scan started offline is queued locally and processed automatically once connectivity is restored. We are not responsible for limited functionality due to lack of internet access.
Using CalTracker may consume mobile data and battery. Features such as AI scanning, barcode scanning, and background sync may use data and processing power. You are responsible for monitoring your data usage and battery consumption. We recommend using Wi-Fi where possible for data-intensive features.
CalTracker provides nutritional estimates based on AI analysis, barcode databases, and user input. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all nutritional data is 100% accurate. The App is not a medical device and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical or dietary advice.
CalTracker is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the App.
We may release updates to add features, fix bugs, or improve performance. While we aim to support the App, we do not guarantee that all updates will maintain backward compatibility. It is your responsibility to keep the App updated to the latest version.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to CalTracker at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may also terminate your account at any time by deleting it through the app's Settings or by contacting us via email.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, the updated terms will be posted on this page with the new effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
